Congressman Udall serves on the House Appropriations Committee's Subcommittees on the Interior and Environment; Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education; and, the Legislative Branch. He is also the Co-Vice Chair of the House Native American Caucus and a member of the Bipartisan Rural Caucus, the Democratic Hispanic Working Group, the Education Task Force, and the Congressional Law Enforcement Caucus, among others.

He is currently campaigning on behalf of Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico who is seeking the Democratic Party's nomination to run for president in 2008.

Senator Dodd served as a U.S. Representative from Connecticut from 1975 until 1981, when he became a U.S. Senator. He served as general chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1995 to 1997. He is now the state's senior Senator. Father David is a graduate of Wake Forest University in NC (BA), Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, NJ, St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Crestwood, NY and Drew University in Madison, NJ (PhD). Having served 10 years as a Protestant pastor, and a few years as a college professor, Fr. David and his family converted to Eastern Orthodoxy in 2003.
