this week's show will feature aimee mann, the shins, broken bells, neil young, kacey musgraves, chris isaac, jonathan edwards, the swell season, a soufully sweet song by jack johnson, an amazing, powerful song from the group stateless, and other classy acoustic songs to sip a cup with...

Strangely, the year 2009 produced some exceptional chill music (music that gives you a laid-back, rhythmical but spacey groove, so it's easy for you to lay back and chill).
I start and end the show with Tosca, the Austrian duo of Dorfmeister and Huber, and then a dreamy vocal by Asheni, with the groove by Kill The Cat, and some fascinating accoustic guitar from Paco Fernandez.
I will also feature tracks that could be labeled acid jazz and improvisational classical, with performances by Yo Yo Ma (left) and the Balanescu Quartet, and two hard-to-define performances by Muse.

"Deep in the forest a call was sounding, and as often as he heard this call, mysteriously thrilling and luring, he felt compelled to turn his back upon the fire and the beaten earth around it, and to plunge into the forest, and on and on, he knew not where or why; nor did he wonder where or why, the call sounding imperiously, deep in the forest.”
