Listen this Friday June 20 at 9PM-10PM to special guest star DJ Astro Raph on the StevieMix show. He'll be dropping some sick mixes with me-anything goes and this man can mix anything. We'll have house, techno,hip-hop,polka,gregorian chants,ragtime,freedonia folk dances and more:) -really just great dance tracks. Astro Raph grew up in Fairfield and now is a professional dj with mad skills performing 5 nights a week in Maui.

Dance Show Friday Night

This is dance week (Friday 9PM-10PM) on the StevieMix Alternative Dance Show and we'll be dropping tracks from the far corners of the music universe. We'll kick off with some house music from David Guetta vs. The Egg. We have an electronic track found on Jamendo, a site recommended by KRUU's Sundar Raman. Jamendo has free (donation optional) music from indie bands you can legally download.

We'll have 1 or 2 old school tracks, some new Italian music from Tiziano Ferro, and Shisha - a middle eastern dance track (think new school exotic belly dancing) by Naked Rhythm. The last third of the show will shift to break beats and hip/hop featuring Unity Part 1 by Afrika Bambaataa and the late great James Brown.
