FRINGE TOAST - Gotye and Civil Wars on Wed., 2/15 at 8pm CT

(See link to play list below). You don't want to miss the incredible Fringe Toast experience! This week's program may be one of the best of the year! After retro tracks from Booker T (of the MGs fame) and four tracks from the famous Concert for George Harrison, we introduce several dynamic artists. Belgian-Australian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Wouter De Backer, a.k.a., Gotye (pronounced "go-tea-yay") shares tracks from 2006 and 2011 never played on Fringe Toast. His style reminds us of Sting (somewhat physical appearance too) and Peter Gabriel. See photo with face paint.

The second spotlight will fall on one of the 2011 Fringe Toast Muisc Crispy Award Winners, the duo called the Civil Wars (photo). DJ UndergroundMan has discovered three more tracks for your delectation and edification. Then, Texas-based singer Leigh Nash (formerly with Sixpence None the Richer) joins Canada's electronic group, Delerium, performing in 2007 as Fauxliage with spicey songs that will haunt you in the night.

The Super Bowl advertisement for Fiat featured the 2003 music from UK's folk singer-songwriter named Willis. On this program, you will be introduced to tracks from this rarely heard album. Leonard Cohen takes the stage with new music at the age of 77. Ken Ramm's Euphoria offers a few new tracks with his distinctive ambient guitartronic style late in the second hour Chill Session. FRINGE TOAST - Sia Furler and Ian Moore Spotlights - Wed., 2/8 at 8pm CT

(See link to play list below). Ever since Australian singer, Sia Furler (photo), took the stage with UK electronic band, Zero 7, she has been a favorite of DJ UndergroundMan. On this program, you will hear rarely heard 2007 live recordings of three of her songs. Austin-native, Ian Moore (photo, who performed in Fairfield a few years ago), shares two of his haunting, songs. Eilen Jewell and Canadian Ken Ramm's band, Euphoria, return again this week with additional tracks based on appreciation expressed by listeners re last week's program.

In the second-hour Chill Session, get ready for a soothing journey through an astral plane piloted by Canadian electronic-chill band Delerium, Musicpool Wavesurfers, Argentina's Federico Aubele, Func Monkey, emancipator, and Euphoria.

FRINGE TOAST - Adam Blessing & Sarah Connor Spotlights - Wed., 2/1 at 8pm CT

Early in the first hour, you will discover Fairfield's emerging Red Door Band through a 12-minute improvisational blues jam session recorded recently. Then, the program spotlight shifts to Southern Pennsylvania singer-songwriter, Adam Blessing (photo), with tracks from his CD, Voices, Times and Places. Later, in the program, you will hear German singer, Sarah Connor (photo), with a song in English about "French Kissing." New music from Eilen Jewel from her 2011 CD, Queen of the Minor Key AND Russian-American opera singer turned acoustic jazz performer, Elizaveta Khripounova, from her just released CD.

FRINGE TOAST - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Wed., Jan. 25 at 8pm CT

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (photo) is the featured group this week. This English rock band formed in 2010 plies the talents of former lead singer/guitarist from Oasis. Later in 2012, Noel will collaborate with the exotic Amorphous Androgynous (a.k.a., Future Sound of London), the prolific UK electronic band. Immediately, following the early first-hour Noel set, you will hear the Aussie brother-sister duo, Angus and Julia Stone (photo).

Harry Manx and Kevin Breit return with more great tracks from the 2011 Strictly Whatever CD. Many favorable comments came from last week's unveiling of Snakefarm's recent CD, My Halo at Half-Light, featuring Anna Domino's vocals. Thus, DJ UndergroundMan offers two additional songs in the second hour. And, oh the second-hour Chill Session will warm you to the bones with carefully selected electronic tracks from Sleepthief, Solimano, Sarah Fimm, Soma Sonic and Hooverphonic. Get set for 100% "never-before-heard-on-Fringe-Toast" tracks carefully selected for you by DJ UndergroundMan (a.k.a., Andy Bargerstock). If you are new to the Fringe Toast Music Show, you will discover why everyone says, "It is the best music you never hear!" Highlighted group is Snakefarm (photo), an American folk-alternative band with a distinctive sound featuring the song-writing talents and vocals of Anna Domino. This music is sooo unique with down-tempo, trip-hop rhythms and blues-laden sonic impressions. Look for these tracks early in the second-hour chill session. Sarah Fimm (photo), American songwriter, who has collaborated with Peter Murphy and Delerium, helps bring us to a peak-experience late in the show.

Frequent Fairfield visitor, Anais Mitchell, shares two tracks from her Hymns for the Exiled CD. Fairfield's own Jimmie Dalton contributes his down-tempo, psychedelic 7-minute, "Fungus of the Mind".
