John Edwards was the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 2004 and a one-term U.S. Senator from North Carolina. Edwards was a Democratic candidate in the 2008 Presidential election.

The man who on the morning of August 7, 1974, rigged 200 feet of 3/4" steel cable between the twin towers of the World Trade Center and walked between them repeatedly, lying down at one point and making eight crossings in all.
