An expert on self-directed neuroplasticity, Dr. Hanson is the founder of the Wellspring Institute for Neuroscience and Contemplative Wisdom, he's taught at Oxford, Stanford, and Harvad, and in meditation centers across the world. This book is co-authored by Richard Mendius, MD. He is a neurologist and cofounder of the Wellspring Institute. He has taught medicine at University of California, Los Angeles, and Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. He also teaches weekly meditation classes at San Quentin State Prison.
