Afghanistan

 

Steven White is an actor, director, and producer. He will be discussing his upcoming production of Ravenscroft, a delightful, funny, intricate, grown up "who done it." The play opens this coming Friday, January 31 7:30 pm and Sunday Feb 2 at The Sondheim Center and then two more weekends at Spayde Theater, MUM.

 

 

Captain Jonathan Freeman of the Maryland National Guard will be the featured guest. Captain Freeman did two tours of duty in Iraq and one tour of duty in Afghanistan. He is currently a PhD candidate at the London School of Economics.

Ben Nelson was the president of the online photo hosting and printing service Snapshot at the time it was purchased by HP.  In 2010, he started the Minerva Project to develop a university that would deliver an Ivy League education at a fraction of the cost of traditional universities. Minerva will have its first undergraduate class September 2014.

Also joining Speaking Freely and the KRUU is the new Fairfield Action News Team, presented by MSAE Middle Schoolers Paloma Braun, Hermela Gebremariam, Daniel Zhu and Drew Schoenfeld. They have been doing an amazing job. They follow KRUU's News at 12pm, 6pm & the following day 6am. M

Craig MullaneyCraig Mullaney is a graduate of the US Military ACraig Jessupcademy at West Point, a Rhode Scholar, and former Foreign Policy Advisor to President Obama during his Presidential campaign.

Craig Jessop has been the Musical Director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir since October 1999. Under his leadership, the Choir has continued to live up to its tradition of excellence and has explored new territory in the musical and performance realms.
