One of the creative voices of 2009 was the Irish-Czech duo The Swell Season (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova). You might remember them as the innocent stars of the movie "Once," but the real creativity comes with the way their voices play together, along with the naked emotion of Hansard's melodies and lyrics. I play 3 songs from their 2009 CD "Strict Joy." The final track, "High horses" will simply blow your mind.
