1993 electronic music

Saturday morning we'll hear music from a 1993 Pirate Satellite compilation titled Daniel AshJust Blowed It Away. The title was inspired by CW Moss- Michael J Pollard, the mechanic that fixed Bonnie & Clyde's ("We're bank robbers.") car. "Dirt in tha' fuel line. Just blowed-it away."

We start with one of my all-time favorite mixes, created by Texas Ted Burghoff. If you're into it, Ted takes us deep into an interior, powered by Jerry Goldsmith and Daniel Ash. "But the diamonds in my heart, don't worry won't let you down." We arrive somewhere in black & white. "If she can stand it I can!"

We'll hear music from The The, who opened for Depeche Mode in St Louis, 1993. Interestingly, Ted and I experienced that grand concert together.
