This Friday night "A Reasonable Alternative" welcomes a very special guest to our humble show. Of course we could come right out and tell you who it is, but that's kind of boring, don't you think? It's much more fun to just say that it's someone in the above picture... and here's a hint: It's not the monkey man in the bottom right (he's on the show every other week).

Well, just to keep you from lying awake tonight while you try desperately to guess who it might be, I'll give you another hint: This unfortunate group of people pictured above happen to be my immediate family. They let us out of our cages for the afternoon to pose for some pictures, to be used by anthropologists in an attempt to understand how Cro-Magnon traits could still survive in a modern Homo Sapien family. Me no think they will find out. Me like pudding.

Here's one last hint: Our guest just might be the tongue wagger in the black dress in the upper left. She just might be my sister Connie, who lives outside of Chicago and spends most of her time writing award-winning fiction and non-fiction, stories and poems that quite simply kick ass. And she just might be in the area attending a writing workshop at the University of Iowa and decided to stop being a passive listener of ARA and come on the show and share some thoughts, music, and maybe even a few of those Cro-Magnon grunts... we'll see.
