Austan Dean Goolsbee is a senior economic adviser to the Obama campaign. He is an economist and is currently the Robert P. Gwinn Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He is also a Research Fellow at the American Bar Foundation, Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a member of the Panel of Economic Advisors to the Congressional Budget Office. He has been Barack Obama's economic advisor since Obama's successful U.S. Senate campaign in Illinois.

Seventeen year old jazz sensation Keelan Dimick. Keelan was born and raised in Fairfield, Ia until the age of thirteen. He then moved to Boise, ID where he met and studied jazz piano with Justen Nielsen. Keelan has gone on to take first place in piano competitions at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, and the Mount Hood Jazz Festival. He will be giving a benefit concert for our own KRUU LP 100.1 FM this Saturday August 2, 2008 at the Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts here in Fairfield, IA.
