This show is based on the futuristic sci-fi notion that windpower and solar were good ideas employed a little too late.

That perhaps the hubris of a male-dominated societey bent on profit and war was too heavy to sustain the cost of years of environmental degradation...and that though our last ditch attempts were primarily GOOD (and unified circa 2009) they came too late.

3 years later, this beautiful planet is left (finally) without the strain of human parasites raping the land for energy...yet, there are artifacts --- buildings, towns, and most importantly signs of our last ditch efforts to respect mother earth...

The new Easter Island, riddled with windmills, still spinning without the eyes of the people who needed their light the most...Isn't that so us? Dying on our 1950's deathbeds crying out for more nostalgia, wishing ourselves back to Kansas?

I HOPE NOT.
