Iowa State Bank and Trust Company has notified KRUU that they will act as a drop off location the donations to the American Red Cross Floods of 2008 Disaster Relief Funds. This will make it easier for donors to give to the flood relief cause, by stopping in the bank or giving a teller either cash or check to be designated to the local, eastern Iowa regional and state flood relief program of the American Red Cross.

So far, the flood response in the Midwest has cost about $15,000,000, and the Red Cross estimates it could reach as high as $40,000,000.
