Riders in the Sky are coming to Fairfield this Wednesday, May 7th, and if you're not familiar with them you ought to be (and you obviously missed Toy Story 2 and the Pixar short For the Birds, for which they provided music).

Simultaneously a celebration and a send-up of the classic cowboy music of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, The Sons of the Pioneers and dozens like them, Riders in the Sky combine great musicianship with three-part harmonies (including Ranger Doug's awesome yodeling) and a truly bent sense of humor.

They will be featured on and off throughout this week's Intercranial Whizbang Hour. Monday, 5/5/08, 10-Midnight.
