Sat Feb 2nd @ 9:00 a.m. Pirate Satellite

William OrbitFebruary 2nd- Happy Birthday Texas Ted Burghoff! Ted and I met in a Science of Creative Intelligence class at MIU in January 1975. Since then he has been one of Pirate Satellite's biggest supporters. Ted recently asked for another copy of the 1995 Pirate Satellite compilation "Very Blue Light-ish". We'll honor Teddy today by playing songs from that compilation. It features music by Roger Eno, Higher Intelligence Agency, William Orbit, Deep Forest, Moby, Banco De Gaia and more. It's music from the mid-90's electronic ambient pioneers, dedicated to a Beloved friend. Enjoy!

BEAUTIFUL!

Blue Light is on for entrance into Heaven!

Thank you, Matt! I'm flattered. If you missed the show today I aired one of your promos. It sounds very "cool"- like a vocoder. Good fit for my show, plus a good time for it with O.W. airing the next day. KRUU is such a cool gig- it was a spontaneous eruption of a portal from which the increasing Light of Creativity had to flow. I'm honored to be part of it.
Today's Obvious World blog is the most inspiring I've read. Probably like you, I've been spiritual all my life and I've also enjoyed electronic music ever since first hearing it. Why do you believe that so much of the modern electronic music and their artists are so spiritually inclined? I'm surprised more folks in the Movement aren't into it- except for the second generation- like yourSelf. About the only thing I can figure is electronic music is so expansive. I've always thought if/when I create a P.S. icon it will be (at least similar to) a pebble into water with the resulting expanding waves- maybe done in a more ethereal style.
Are your shows archived? I want to hear tomorrows!
Thanks again!

Congratulations on an improved website! Glad to see today's show was in honor of an early P.S. supporter. He's a "through thick-n-thin" kind of guy, eh?
Our loss for missing the show. How much are the cd's? I would think a $15 donation plus "shipping and handling" is fair.
