A Reasonable Alternative

"TV on the Radio" is not just the name of an alternative rock band from New York (picture above left), but also the theme for this Friday's "A Reasonable Alternative". With corporate radio taking fewer and fewer risks these days, alternative artists are turning to TV shows such as the "The O.C." (above right) for airtime. Before it was cancelled last year, the primetime drama provided exposure for numerous musicians through the soundtrack, including Keane, Ron Sexsmith and Imogen Heap, just to name a few. Tune in to KRUU from 8-9 PM, April 11, 2008 to hear artists whose music has been used in shows like "The O.C.", as well as "Grey's Anatomy", "Six Feet Under", "One Tree Hill" and more.
