Paul Fauerso on Speaking Freely w/ Dennis Raimondi Tue 1pm
Singer/songwriter Paul Fauerso. Paul founded the Loading Zone in 1966. They were the opening act for such legendary groups as The Who, Rod Stewart, the Grateful Dead, Sam and Dave, Big Brother and the Holding Company with lead singer Janice Joplin, and dozens more. Paul went on to write and record music inspired by the teachings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. (Originally scheduled for last week's show.)
Jim Leach, former United States Congressman from Iowa, has recently been named the new director of Harvard University's Institute of Politics. Congressman Leach served 15 terms in Congress as a Republican representative from eastern Iowa. During his congressional career he served as chairman of the House Banking and Financial Services Committee and the Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs, and was author or co-author of several significant pieces of legislation, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, reforming the financial services industry.
