It was 20 years ago today...

It is hard to believe that 1991 was almost 20 years ago. This week, I'm playing the music that you would have first heard in 1991. Alot of it you're still hearing now, and alot of it was made by artists who were just getting started.

Remember Red Hot Chili Peppers and their sock puppets? (Google it if you don't--I'm trying to stay PG-13 here)

It marked the debut of Pearl Jam [pictured], Buckethead, and Mr. Bungle.

The Canadian group Blue Rodeo released a brilliant track "Trust yourself," and Bonnie Raitt sang, "Let's give them something to talk about."

Interestingly, Michael Jackson's hit from 1991 was "Remember the Time."
