UNIVERSE PARTY

Universe Party began as a show on 100.1 KRUU FM, a solar powered radio station in Fairfield IA. Originally there was just the Lounge Body, but its popularity grew to demand another, longer show. Universe spins hip hop, alternative, dance,and electric as its primary genre: the newest music, soon to be hits, cutting edge, avant garde, the underground and the cult underground with amazing discern between the crap and the actual non-crap. One Huffington Post writer remarked "How do you do it? I've been listening for a while now, and its… its the coolest show on KRUU."

Popularity as a DJ at KRUU created a demand for Universe Party in the club, bar and party scene. Prompting a number of appearances in Fairfield starting with a Full Moon Universe Party at Red Rock Tavern the warranted a loud applause by the crowd outside when the bar closed.

Since them, Universe Party has grown into a company that blogs, plans parties, introduces new bands and artists to its network, provides sound to touring bands, and provides street team and support of local events. Universe Party even has two fully-wearable t-shirts and is working on a mixtape that already includes ten artists.
