Fresh from three weeks of vacation in Vermont, DJ Andy Bargerstock shares his latest musical discoveries.  Highlighted group, Widespread Panic (photo left), elite American jam band from Athens, GA is known for changing set lists for every concert. On this night, you will hear two tracks from recently released CD, Dirty Side Down. Tune early! You don't want to miss the opening set with some obscure and worthy blues tracks from Tab Benoit, Miller Anderson, and Harry Manx & Kevin Breit.

UK trip-hop band Morcheeba reunites with vocalist Skye Edwards on new tracks from their recent CD release.  You will also hear Alabama female duo, Azure Ray (photo), who will be playing at The Mill in Iowa City in early November. They will be releasing a new CD in September.   During the chill-out session in second hour, you will hear from highly creative artists including Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse (featuring David Lynch vocals), little known electronic DJ King Kitch, Indian vocalist Ahy'o who will take us on a dream ride, and ethereal music from a CD called Sacred Chants of Shiva.  Listen closely for spoken word of Ken Nordine from his Word Jazz series from 1958.  For sure, this will be another delightful experience.  Click here for play list.
