Filmosopher's co-host Chris Busch is in New York, so we're posting a
Filmosopher's show blog celebration. Burt Chojnowski, "Fairfield First! Buzz" icon, documentary filmmaker and cultural-district innovator will once again co-host the show. We'll have esteemed Fairfield Public Library Director Rebecca Huggins in the studio to talk about their 2ND FRIDAY FREE FILM: The Wind Journeys. (click on Read More below to continue)
Also, it's big release weekend! 3 major films open, including Scott Pilgrim vs The World, which Burt predicted months ago on our summer movie preview would be one of the major films of the summer. We think he's right, it has a good buzz. Unfortunately for the other two, The Expendables and Eat, Pray, Love, not so much. I was hoping E.P.L. would be the wonderful woman's film of the summer that Sex And The City 2 wasn't. We'll see.
This will be the last week, for a while at least, that junior reviewer Shane Miller will be in the studio. He starts Middle School next week and is excited about it.
It's The Filmosophers Movie Talk show, where we give our filmosophy of the movies and have filmosophical discussions. Friday at 12:20 PM Live stream @kruufm.com
