Saturday we're featuring the latest Depeche Mode album Sounds Of The Universe. "Recorded in Santa Barbara and New York, Depeche Mode returned to using a lot of vintage gear, from analogue synthesizers to drum machines, in order to conjure up the retro-futuristic arrangements featured on the album. Sounds Of The Universe bleeps and thumps and hisses with a seemingly primitive array of manufactured noises in a way that only fans of, say, Orbital, Autechre, or Kraftwerk can really appreciate."

Also hear music from Interval's latest album The Edge Of A Fairytale; music by A.R. Rahman & BlaaZe from the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire. [Click "READ MORE" below to continue.]

Just fooling around on Pirate Satellite. "Cliff get that girl off your arm. I mean it. I know she's there, get-her-off-your-arm. Stop it. Bye. Look at me when I'm talking to you. I'm tellin' you! Ha huh! huh huh huh!" - Big C from St Louie

Music from Nicola Conte; Tosca; Aes Dana; a cut from the compilation Saint Tropez Cote Plage and more.

Let's say interesting is the minimum-

We're peddling insanity and purposelessness, because... people need it. -Devo

Terry - Hey man get your toes on the other side of that line!

Cliff - My toes ARE on the other side of that line!

Big B from St Louie- His nose may come to a point like that but at least his feet don't... (Dart game, Springfield Missouri, 1973)

Loved the Disc

Hi Bruce!

I loved your disc, there were many great messages in it. I passed it on to Bonnie Pridgen, whom you met at the Saturday LtM - on the the joyful healers in the group.

Just wanted to say again how much I enjoyed your show, the interview, and our time in Fairfield. By the way, one of the artists in your disc is Cameron Limbrick, who lives close by - we have lunch every so often at his mom's, who is also a great friend.

Look forward to seeing you again, keep up the great music and messages!

Mark
