Jacuzzi Suite Fantasia, Parts One and Two, Thur 2-4pm CST

JacuzziInspiration is a funny thing: It can appear out of nowhere, at any time. If you were ever wondering what it would be like to listen to two hours of radio that was specifically designed for listening while in a hot tub, well, now you have it. I cannot say that there are any songs about bathing, there are not. Nor are there any songs about jacuzzi's, or bubbling water, or crowds of people drinking wine...uh, in a, uh, pool. Nevertheless, I have gleaned a spark of inspiration from the thought of sitting with key individuals in my life, in a swirling bath of 102 degree water, sipping a hydrating bevarage of some form or another. After my opening theme song of 'All Around You', we will kick it into high gear with 'When I'm 64', by The Beatles. Listen also for Fleetwood Mac, Badly Drawn Boy, Elvis Costello, and Cracker to highlight suite one. After a lubricious first half, suite two will commence with 'Show and Tell' by Al Wilson, an old r&b classic. Further delving into the underground progressive rock scene will unearth a band called Womb, and a song called 'Conceptions of Reality II'. Not for the faint of heart; if you have been in the water for more than an hour at this point, you will probably enter into another level of consciousness when you hear The Rain Parade, Sopwith Camel, and The Out Crowd. But since I know you are the kind of thrill seeker that enjoys a trip any time the breeze blows, get in the wind Thursday 2-4 PM with me, The G Man, the only government you will ever need on Planet Rock & Roll.
