Pop, Part Two: Another excursion into the realm of circa late 60's music. Pictured, for your pleasure, Sugarloaf, who will check in with a song called 'Green-Eyed Lady'. This was considered a long single back in the day, on a par with Hey Jude, or MacArthur Park. The time goes by quickly because of the musical ideas expressed. The show will begin with The Youngbloods doing Get Together, a stellar peace anthem. A quick survey of other highlights: Venus, by Shocking Blue, Drift Away by Dobie Gray, and Go All The Way by The Raspberries. Nazz, Al Green, and Count 5 also, and a host of others. Most of these songs are quite short by my standards, I had one show where the whole two hours were done in 6 songs. So- a lot of musical diversity this week. See you then! The G Man
