Rebiya KadeerThursday, July 16th at 7pm on KRUU-FM, the Tanner & Moore show will focus on the ethnic unrest in Western China that erupted last week. China admits 184 people died, over 1100 were wounded and more than 1500 arrests followed from three days of rioting. (Some Uighers dispute these offical numbers.) Joining the discussion from Washington DC will be Henryk Szadziewski of the Uyghur Human Rights Project, an organization that works closely with Rebiya Kadeer, the woman China accuses of masterminding the uprising, which she denies.

Join cohosts James Moore and Stuart Tanner for a discussion on the worst rioting seen in China, some say, since 1949. Tanner, who spent time undercover in the Muslim-majority province producing an award-winning documentary film for BBC's Channel 4, "Death on the Silk Road," will share his personal experiences.
