Irving Toast, Poetry Ghost. Sun@10:30am/Mon@1:30pm

Arrrrrrr. This group of pond pirates from the Wolverine State has joined the KRUU and has been known to tune in Irving Toast, Poetry Ghost via the interwebs on a lazy summer's day. Hooray! What cometh? This Sunday/Monday we have a remastered Annie Finch interview airing (the sound has been blended so we no longer have Annie in one speaker and me in the other). Weeks forth: an interview with local legend, Bill Graeser, and then the week after that a fun program where the ghosts take over and read their poems: Robert Frost, Wallace Stevens, John Crowe Ransom, Marianne Moore and T. S. Eliot-- all recorded by the Library of Congress in the 1950's. Vintage vintage.
