Creating a pilot for KRUU

Every show that airs on KRUU is first submitted to the KRUU Programming Committee as a "pilot". The pilot is a draft episode of your show, recorded as though it were a full episode. So if you're planning on doing a 30 minute show, your pilot should be approximately 30 minutes.

The pilot is a way for the KRUU Programming Committee to evaluate where in the schedule your show might fit best.

Creating a pilot also gives you, the Show Host, the understanding of what goes into a show - the selection of music, the track introductions, and the overall theme of each episode.

Once the pilot is submitted, the programming committee reviews it and will give you feedback on what might need to be altered, and what a potential time-slot for the show is.
