I've been feeling deeply melancholy this week, much of it to do with this being our movie screenfinal Filmosophers movie talk show, at least on KRUU, an extraordinary audio portal which I keep thinking will survive. I've been into radio all my life, starting hosting shows in 1972, and have truly experienced the best radio in my life listening to KRUU (highlighted by the satsang that is Writer's Voices, which continues KHOE).

Today we'll have Nandini & Rodney Charles on, a wonderful international family brought together by the Spiritual Regeneration Movement that brought us to Fairfield. Nandini from India, Rodney from Canada. When I saw Viceroy's House, about the transition of British India to independence, it felt like an under appreciated film in our community that has deep spiritual ties to that beloved country. I knew Nandini would be able to help us appreciate this film and asked them to join us. They also recently saw Things To Come with Isabelle Huppert, one of my fave films of the year. We anticipate their reviews.

We'll fit that in with new releases, what we saw and our final - for now anyway - thoughts on the Filmosophers with Chris Busch & Bruce Miller , "where we give our filmosophy of the movies and have filmosophical discussions."
