It's always a great pleasure, honor, and learning experience to visit with Deborah.  On this occasion we'll talk about her new and most personal cookbook, In My Kitchen. The book is a window into how and what she enjoys cooking today, 20 years after the publication of Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone.    It includes 100 recipes, some new, plus updated personal favorites.

Following the interview, Kathy DuBois and I are going to spend some time choosing several of our favorite Deborah Madison recipes for the GREAT TASTE LIVE cooking show July 18 at Green Building Supply.  That search will include five of her books, beginning with her first, The Greens Cookbook.  

The recipes we choose will focus on what vegetables are currently ready to eat in our local gardens, and many of the veggies will be picked that day by the students enrolled in the Regenerative Agriculture Program in the Sustainable Living Department.  You will have to show up at GBS on Tuesday, July 18 at 7:00 pm to find out what's on the menu.
