G ManThe next spotlight show shines its steely beacon of light down upon the sixties, and the pop single. Most of these songs came off of tiny vinyl records with big holes in the middle. Three cuts by The Doors, The Chambers Brothers, and The Blues Magoos made the fm circuit, due to their length. But, yeah, I have like 60 songs in three hours, so they are going to fly by. If you have reached the age I am, you will likely be singing along to many of these tunes. If those three bands don't thrill ya, try Frank Sinatra, The Happenings, Bobby Darin, or The Hollies. Pure pop pleasure from when the engineers and producers had a mandate to get the song on the radio. The G Man
