Our great friend, sometime guest and movie buff Al Green is back in town and we're Dumb and Dumber To poster excited that he'll be joining us on the show. Al has recently seen Birdman, which is building award season momentum. He'll give us his review (hint- it's good :) and talk about whatever else has inspired him.

Who says the Orpheum isn't bringing in mainstream movies? Dumb And Dumber To, starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels starts Friday in the cultural district. Well... maybe "cultural" and "Dumb"... oh nevermind.

We'll talk about the new releases, including The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch who may get a Best Actor nom for this. Also, two well reviewed docs: The Kingdom Of Dreams And Madness, the "riveting behind-the-scenes documentary (which) offers some comfort for viewers facing a world without new feature films directed by Studio Ghibli anime legend Hayao Miyazaki." Plus: Antarctica A year On Ice. "A stunning look at the beauty and challenges of Earth's most mysterious continent."

We invite you to join us on the Filmosophers, with Chris Busch, special guest Al Green & Bruce Miller "where we give our filmosophy of the movies and have filmosophical discussions" Fridays 12:30 PM again Sunday mornings at 11:30.
