- Generation whY - 20140327 - Katrin Macmillan

Join host Andrew Tint as he highlights the issues facing Generation Y. This week Andrew is joined by Project's For All founder and director Katrin Macmillan as we get an update on Hello Hub. (Listen to Part I here).

Katrin founded Projects for All in 2013 with the aim of fostering community ownership of development projects and thereby empowering marginalized communities. Her passion for giving a voice to individuals and communities was shaped by her time living in Nigeria and Ethiopia working in human rights advocacy and development.

Project's For All is providing underprivileged children and adults in Africa with access to the opportunities that the Internet provides. Their computer terminals, or ‘Hello Hubs’, allow them to educate themselves, to communicate with others and to be part of the global online community.

Projects For All is incredibly grateful to Rebel@Outsider for creating two short films about Projects For All.  Mel and Nic stepped into make two films when there was no resources for Projects for All to tell their story. They created two verisons, one is a minute long, and the other three minutes.

Help Project Open World to tell their story and reach the widest possible audience by making a short film yourself! Contact Katrin Macmillan and Projects for All for more information.
