- Filmosophers - 20130927- John Raatz

Thursday evening was our first opportunity to see the new Orpheum Theatre. It John Raatzlooks great! Media visionary John Raatz delighted and inspired us with the rapidly evolving possibilities of transformational entertainment. John share's our love for the filmosophical experience and among other films was "a major force behind the success of What The Bleep Do We Know!?" We personally enjoyed working with him to promote The Real Dirt On Farmer John when it came to Fairfield in 2005. So it was our honor to ask him to join us today on the Filmosopher's show.

Congratulations to Chris & Christopher Johnson, Kristian Day and all involved for their work in renovating and updating the Orpheum Theatre. Come and experience Manhattan Short: 16th Annual Global Film Festival at the Orpheum, September 27- October 6, 7:30 daily, 2:00PM Saturday-Sunday. ManhattonShort.com The Orpheum opens one hour before show time so you can take in our cultural district's latest entertainment venue. It's here to serve our entire community, yet another blessing.

We're the Filmosophers, with Chris Busch and Bruce Miller "where we give our filmosophy of the movies and have filmosophical discussions." Fridays at 12:30 PM Central, again Sunday mornings at 9:00. For us, transformational and filmosophical mean the same thing.

"The art of happiness is to serve all"- seen on a Yogi tea bag this morning... :)
