Adnan Farhan Abdul Latif 11 years at Guantanamo. Turned in by Pakistanis for $5000. Uncharged, three times sanctioned for release, each time reversed by Bush & Obama administrations, Supreme Court turning down his final appeal. The 37 year-old Yemeni native was found dead in his cell last week of an apparent suicide.

All three branches of our government, and both parties, complicit in this national disgrace. If this is how we're fighting the war on terror, what exactly is it we're fighting for?

Andrew Cohen's Atlantic editorial is featured A DEATH AT GUANTANAMO. Also, POEMS from GUANTANAMO, [Iowa Press] by Marc Falkoff, an attorney who represented 17 detainees at Guantanamo.
