Jefferson County’s Energy Rewards Loan Program Announcement

Fairfield, IA – The Fairfield Economic Development Association partnered with Fairfield’s Go Green Plan, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Iowa Department of Administrative Services, Community First Credit Union, First National Bank in Fairfield, Libertyville Savings Bank, and MidWestOne Bank to offer a unique loan program. Jefferson County’s Energy Rewards Loan Program offers home and business owners low interest loans for energy efficient and renewable energy projects.

The goal of Jefferson County’s Energy Rewards Loan Program is to make energy projects affordable. Borrowers can use a loan to upgrade old appliances, weatherize a home or business, update lighting or complete a renewable energy project like solar electric or geothermal.
