Shoegazer is taking liberties with all the 80's-inspired tracks we have in store for you over the next two installments of the show, but we feel excused for our saccharine leanings as the artists pedalling the era's sound have found ways to freshen it up while retaining its ubiquitous optimism. We've also got a healthy dose of folksy realism to balance things out.
