Shoegazer engages in a little blatant promotion this week and next. On deck are two tracks from little known band Tuff Jerks, the project of local musician Jason Hennesy. His self-titled DIY (that's Do It Yourself for the uninitiated) album is one that defies neat encapsulation- it's nuanced in a way that's unusual to hear in seminal projects. In addition we've got new music from Twin Shadow, Freelance Whales, Pale Seas, White Arrows, Tycho, Western Affairs, The Tallest Man On Earth and more.
