A beautiful night at Riverside Casino. Muggy and buggy, yes, but Joe Walsh kicked the cobwebs off the corn, pumped up the jams with a most excellent 7-piece band, including two drummers, and delivered a great romp through his legacy-laden eclectic catalog of hit tunes.

Funny, personable and fit, the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer lit up the outdoor venue with guitar pyrotechnics and a fiery wit to match.

Mike Ragogna, who has interviewed Joe twice for KRUU & Huffpo, managed a brief meeting for us just before Joe went on stage. What a treat to meet one of my favorite musicians and his beautiful wife, Marjorie. Sweet night.
