Welcome to Rainbow Rider #69, dedicated to the proposition 'uff luff', in all it's forms. It is not possible for me to pass up the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play off of this unique number. So we will swing from the ridiculous through the sublime. First up is 'Green-Eyed Lady (6:49)', from the original Liberty Records release in 1970 by Sugarloaf. Scratches and all! I always start off with the last song from last week so you don't lose your place. Then we go from James Brown to MC 5 to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Try spelling their name without looking. Other highlights include Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and The Turtles. I have two songs by them from their album 'Battle of the Bands', including 'Hi, I'm Chief Kamanawanalea', which is a true laffer no matter how many time you hear it. Well, also a couple songs by Gracie Slick, who wrote some pretty sexy songs with the Airplane back in the day. Do not miss this one! Where can you go after the sublime??? Cool Breeze
