'The World's On Fire', the first song from the first album by The Strawberry Alarm Clock, headlines our first hour on The Rainbow Rider. If you have only heard the singles by the band, you are in for a treat. In that vein I am also playing some old Temptations, and Stone Poneys. Plus what is perhaps my fave song by War, 'Four Cornered Room'. The second hour drops into a deep groove with Shawn Phillips, Robert Palmer, and Roy Buchanan. Plus one of the greatest single releases ever by Sugarloaf, 'Green Eyed Lady'. The long version, of course. Don't give me no jive about short versions of songs. Just check out the Steely Dan song in this show and tell me bands don't need to stretch out... Cool Breeze
