The replay of this show is May 2nd(!), which trips me out because time is moving very quickly for me these days. I am ready for summer concerts, live music, and warm nights. It just so happens that The Avett Brothers (pictured) are one of the headliners at this years 80-35 Festival, and I have a show that highlights the band, and country folk in general. We will hear, in it's entirety, the EP called 'The Second Gleam'. Later on side two we will hear 14 songs from their album 'Emotionalism'. And in between I will have a set of songs that include Buddy Miller, The Flatlanders, Little Feat, Glen Campbell, John Denver, Junior Brown, John Kay, and Gillian Welch. I actually put this show together abour 8 months ago, and then kept refining it over and over again as I picked up more music by the bands.
