As I am looking over the playlist for the show tomorrow morning, it reads like a greatest hits list. An off the beaten track list, to be sure. There are some interesting and important works here. I have The Velvet Underground and Sandy Bull, both of whom had a strong influence on later bands. 'Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley' was the debut album from Robert Palmer in 1974 and he was backed by The Meters and Little Feat. It was a fine collaboration. My local fave band X-Ray Mary boots in with 'Fungus of the Mind'. And to top it all off, I have my favorite Eric Whitacre composition called 'Sleep'. Can't help but get misty-eyed every time I think of my experience of this song at a live concert. Ok, so see the playlist magically appear at midnight... Cool Breeze
