The INTERCRANIAL WHIZBANG HOUR: Sprechen Zie Motown?
When The Beatles re-recorded "She Loves You" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" in German, and both tracks went to the Top Ten in Germany, Motown prez Berry Gordy, Jr., took notice and later had a number of his artists re-record their hits in a variety of languages. (The coaching sessions must have been interesting.)
Thrill to some of your favorite Motown classics, including "Chi Mi Aiutera", Wie Shon das Ist" "Solamente Lei", and of course, "Piangono Glo Vomini" on this week's I.W.H., beginning at 10 PM, Monday 7/14/08
