In this week's show, DJ Andy Bargerstock holds the torch high for RJD2 (photos), Philadelphia-based composer/mixer/producer known for his hip hop collaborations with various artists. You
will hear some of DJ Andy's favorite RJD2 tracks, "Ghostwriter" and "Someone's Second Kiss."
This Fringe Toast episode offers special recently uncovered nuggets from the outer edges of the American music scene. Your ears will savor music from the blues-rock duo, The Black Keys (Akron, OH), indie-rock band, Silversun Pickups, (Los Angeles, CA), folksinger Nels Andrews (Brooklyn, NY), songwriter Jeffrey Gaines (Harrisburg, PA), alternative band Tarkio (Montana),folk musician Willy Porter (Mequon, WI), and the Easy All-Stars (New York, NY).
In the final 30 minute chill-out portion of the program, you will meet the Norwegian jazz dance duo, Butti 49, electonica group Sinewave, and the British composer Jon Hopkins who has collaborated with the likes of Coldplay, Massive Attack, Imogen Heap, and King Creosote.
