Thursday After-Evening Dining Block

Join us every Thursday at 4 for the Thursday After-Evening Dining Block, a two-and-a-half hour, three show mix of everything under the sun and moon.  Listen to DJ's Gabe + Graham's brand-new, critically acclaimed show "Ain't Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang", as they set the pace for the four-course meal. Dubbed the 'bread and butter' of the afternoon, this new program is one for the ages.

Following 'ANBAGT' are the Captain Captain Industries'-featured Great Job Sound Squad clique, who spin nothing but the best in modern electronic, classic blues records, trip-hop, alternative and everything else in this sphirical world.  Co-hosts "Captain" Cameron Sales and Patrick Duffy have been part of KRUU for almost the full five years; the seniority never really shows though.

Captain's Quarters - Season 1, Episode 6

Captain's Quarters - Every Thursday from 5-6 P.M.

Long before we know ourselves, Our paths are already set in stone. Some may never figure out their purpose in life, And some will. There are a lot of us who are caught up in this hell we all live in, content with being blinded by rules and judgment. We live in a world where it's more okay to follow than to lead. In this world, being a leader is trouble for the system we are all accustomed to. Being a leader in this day and age is being a threat. Not many people stood up against the system we all call life, but toward the end of our first ten years into the millennium we heard a voice. A voice who was speaking to us from the underground for some time. A voice who spoke of vulnerabilities and other human emotions and issues never before heard so vividly and honest. This is the story of a young man who not only believed in himself, But his dreams too.

After a productive week here at Captain Captain Industries, we find ourselves set for this evening's radio broadcast.  Critics were stunned and the skeptics were silenced on last week's sophomore-breakout broadcast.  We have multiple wooden 4x4 crates  of great music today, ranging from master turntablist Madlib to the Icelantic audio dreamscapes of Sigur Ros

Is all of this success just the work of luck -- or is it something much, much larger?

You be the judge. Tonight!

Captain's Quarters - Season One, Episode Two

Captain's Quarters -- KRUU FM

After an impressive debut last Thursday evening, Captain's Quarters returns with an all new, action-packed hour-long episode.  Today's show is absolutely stacked with premium artists, from the incredibly daunting blues/garage rock revival of The Dead Weather, to the swirling blends of pure intrumental jazz, electronic, and hip-hop that Yesterday's New Quartet provides.

One show down and it's already a hit.

Will the Captain keep riding the successes of his debut, or will he feel the pressures of a sophomore slump? -- Find out today, as well as every Thursday evening, from 5-6 P.M.  Stay tuned after Captain's Quarters for a brand-new Free Speech Radio News as well as the quality tunes that Planet Erstwild has always catered.

I'll see ya' at five o'clock sharp.

Captain's Quarters, on KRUU FM

Almost five years ago, three legendary DJ's etched their names into history by challenging the modern patterns of youth radio.  Sword and shield in hand, they battled audio advertisements, conquered every unlistenable radio cliche, and laid waste to corporate trash that played songs strictly based on popularity, not quality.

After the sudden departure of one of these DJ's, Ms. Terinel Font, the legendary trio became a mythical duo, and the goal became even more pinpointed towards discovering the best-of-the-best, whether it be an new, under-the-radar group, or through diving deep into the vault of past legends.  This duo toiled, week after week, until Thursday evenings became synonymous with the newly crafted 'Cameron and Patrick...Show'. (click 'read more'!)

Oh no! Thursday is a'comin'! That can only mean one thing - the Fairfield's gonna get rocked with the prescence of Cameron and Patrick's Awesome Show, Great Job!
I'm pretty darn psyched to get today's show out to the public, with some booty-shakin' jams that'll flip your world around!
omnomnomnom.
Today [Thursdays] from five P.M. to sixxx P.M.
