On tonight's edition of After Hours we'll be checking out Migration, the new album by UK-based DJ/Producer Bonobo (AKA Simon Green). Green says Migration was inspired by “the study of people and spaces... It’s interesting how one person will take an influence from one part of the world and move with that influence and affect another part of the world. Over time, the identities of places evolve.”
We'll also hear some great jazzy beats and abstract hip hop from 2016 courtesy of some amazing record labels from all around the world, featuring: Chillhop Records (Amsterdam), Tour De Manège (Montreal), DirtyBeauty (Germany), Millennium Jazz Music (London) and more! Listen to the re-broadcast Wednesday, Jan. 25th 12:00am CST right here on KRUU radio.
