It's The Filmosophers Movie talk show, where we have filmosophical discussions and give our filmosophies on the movies. Co-hosts Chris Busch and Bruce Miller are joined by superstar Big Al Green- "oh yeah". This week we'll review the powerful new the great debatersP.T. Anderson (Boogie Nights, Magnolia) film There Will Be Blood, starring Daniel Day-Lewis (Last of the Mohicans; Gangs of New York) who, most critics predict will win the Oscar for Best Actor. We'll also review the two excellent films now showing at the Co-Ed Theatre in Fairfield- The Great Debaters, directed by and starring Denzel Washington and Juno. We'll also review films on DVD, including Marc Forster's (Finding Neverland, The Kite Runner) Stranger Than Fiction and Mike Binder's (The Upside of Anger) Reign Over Me, which was named one of the best films of 2007 by the Spiritual Cinema Circle.

Friday we'll talk with Cathy Wadsworth, Executive Director of the 1st Friday's Art Walk. In February, 1st Fridays Art Walk and the Iowa Motion Picture Association partner to present the ‘Best of Iowa’ Film Expo, February 1 – 3. The film expo will showcase the top three films in five different categories from all the 2007 Iowa film festivals. You can be a part of the Film Expo! The Filmosophers will also talk about Juno, opening at the Co-Ed Theatre Friday. Roger Ebert (and others) declare Juno "just about the best movie of the year."
