FAIRFIELD - Plans and lineup for FAIRfest, Fairfield’s signature free three-day music and sustainability festival, will be announced at a public press conference to be held April 24 at 10 a.m. in the Sondheim Theater of the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center.

Presenters at the press conference include Mayor Ed Malloy, FACC director Rustin Lippincott, Chamber of Commerce Director Nancy Morrissey, and FAIRfest organizers Savannah Rezarch-Bird, Erika Richards, Roland Wells and James Moore.

FAIRfest '14 promises to be bigger and better than last year's inaugural event which attracted over 6,000 attendees over three days and four nights, according to organizers, and featured more than 40 national, regional, and local musical acts, as well as keynote speakers on sustainability, and an array of local and regional vendors.
