This week's feature is the soulfull folk rock of Mike Mangione and The Union. I'll be playing tracks from their brand new and unreleased album. Bo Ramsey (of Greg and Pieta Brown) says: "When I first saw Mike and his band I thought, this is a real band--unique and dynamic!"  Mike Mangione's band consists of the usual drums, bass and guitar but adds violin and cello to create its special sound. They will be performing at Cafe Paradiso on Friday March 8th.

Well the night’s busted open on those two lanes to anywhere
There’s a kiss on my cheek and it burns so I leave it there
I step on the gas and something begins to shake

It’s my heart and it’s singing, boy, this is more than you can take
