The kind of song you get from Andy might depend on what day it is. Andy Ard is the primary songwriter for the Denver band, PJ Zahn, for whom he also sings and plays guitar.

Debbie Goodman

With a head full of songs and ready to tell about them, Debbie Goodman packed up a U-Haul and headed to Los Angeles with her guitar and her percussionist. She left behind a budding country career in Nashville to pursue pop and rock in more progressive California.

The song Beautiful Girl can be heard streaming in some major grocery stores across the US. Pop star Grace Potter sings her song "Stars". Debbie's rock and country crossover tunes and that undeniable twang in her voice reveals an Oklahoma City upbringing with a nice mix of Tennessee. Other influences include Led Zepplin, who she loves covering with a live band, and she looks up to country star Miranda Lambert for her rebellious feistiness.

From East Coast to West Coast and right in the middle, Debbie Goodman has touched the nation with songs that come straight from her own real life.

Kal Cahoone was raised in Colorado and studied piano as a young child. Her mother had a passion for folk music (bruce cochburn, judy collins, gordon lightfoot, leonard cohen, the fairport convention, tim buckley) and Kal never imagined that one day she would also be a fan.

After receiving a degree in Spanish she ended up in valparaiso chile, living on a hill (cerro alegre) in total solitude with nothing but a typewriter and a Beautiful view. Here she began writing songs, at age 26.  Six months later she took a bus across the Andes, arriving in Buenos Aires. Within a few days she met composer Christian Basso and they began recording together and eventually married. Thier song “The Movement” can be heard in the film “Dot the I” starring Gael Garcia Bernal. She also took up accordion, which was easier to travel with than a piano.   www.KalCahoone.com

http://wendyclark.net The Wendy Clark Band is a Denver-based original rock band that has evolved from Tequila Mockingbird. Active on the Front Range music circuit and indie scene since 1996, Wendy is a singer, composer, rhythm guitarist, bandleader, independent-recording artist, manager, and promoter. Her music is classified under roots-rock but adds an unmistakable playful voice and infectious melody combined with modern philosophical meanderings and “been there, hated that” themes mixed with a twinge of nostalgia, that are catchy, powerful, and kept fresh by delving into multiple genres.

Wendy has released three critically-acclaimed full-length CDs under the moniker Tequila Mockingbird, has performed over 1,000 festivals and gigs regionally including A Taste of Colorado, Adams County Fair, The CHUN Peoples Fair (1998-present), toured in the Rockies into Wyoming and through New Mexico, appeared on live TV and radio (Denver's Channel 2 Evening News, KRFC FM, and 1190 AM), released dozens of videos (The Honeymoon and Catching On receiving tens of thousands of views on her YouTube), and opened at sold out shows for bands such as Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, The Samples, Bob Schneider, and Chris Daniels and The Kings. She has opened up for Tim McGraw at Fiddler’s Green, sat in with The Refreshments, Hazel Miller, and backed up Brian Blush (The Refreshments) and Jamon Scott (The Toluenes) as well as collaborated and recorded with bassist Rob Squires of  Big Head Todd and the Monsters on UFO (1998). www.trinitydemask.com"Trinity Demask has one of those voices that gives your heart and spirit a double-take. Wonderful songwriting, great production. 'Crucible' is a gem!"
- Wendy Wham, KUNC 91.5 FM Greeley, CO

"After a seeming eternity between releases, Trinity Demask returns under her own name, with an album's worth of material that places her squarely in the ranks of singer-songwriters like Dar Williams and Jonatha Brooke."
- Chris K., host of "The Colorado Sound" radio show (KRFC 88.9 FM, Fort Collins)

Trinity Demask’s music is a soundtrack for life’s little detours, breakdowns, and roadside revelations.  Her enthralling voice and melodic, insightful songwriting capture the essence of life’s journeys with tales that are both personal and universal.  Some songs lift you like a carefree, summer joyride while others explore the dark, empty places off the beaten path, shining a light of hope in the darkness.

poet at heart with a knack for writing catchy melodies, Trinity has garnered songwriting accolades (2005 New Song Showcase winner at the Walnut Valley Festival) as well as praise for her emotive vocal style (“Trinity Demask has one of those voices that gives your heart and spirit a double-take” – Wendy Wham, KUNC).  Often drawing comparisons to the angelic, rootsy tones of Alison Krauss, Trinity’s voice can also pack a powerhouse punch reminiscent of blues rocker Susan Tedeschi.  Her signature Americana tunes blend the introspection and social awareness of folk and the warmth of country with rock and roll passion.  The Indie Acoustic Project named her first CD Venus In Retrograde (released under her band name Third Road Home) "one of the best CDs of 2004" in the acoustic ensemble category, and her follow-up Crucible was named "one of the best CDs of 2009" in the lyrics category. She is currently working on her third CD scheduled for release in early 2015. For more information visit www.trinitydemask.com.

Stacy Price, Paper And The Queen
Emotionally honest lyrics merged with the magic of her indie-pop musicality, Stacy Price energizes hearts and minds within the Denver music scene. She possesses a lush crème vocal style while utilizing the punch and drive of indie-rock magnetism which is the keystone of her grounded yet creative sound.

Stacy grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, listening to the underground sounds of R.E.M., The Indigo Girls, Sinead O'Connor, Souixsie and the Banshees, 10,000 Maniacs just to name a few. Her latest project 'Paper & the Queen' explores the raw emotion that often leads to fiery situations with songs like "Just Get Me Out", "She's the Queen" and "Paper Thin." In other facets, this album touches on the tenderness and explosion of new found love with songs like "Your Return" and "Tangled Up."
Stacy's Lush, smooth yet strong and captivating vocals in juxtaposition to the amped up guitars of 90's underground rock, fuels a sort of resurgence, linking two pairings that normally aren't mixed together. Think Ingrid Michaelson vocals with the driving electric guitar rhythms of Liz Phair.

After graduating from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri with degrees in Philosophy and Theatre, John Dillon co-founded the band The Ozark Mountain Daredevils. The band signed a recording contract with  A & M Records in 1973 that resulted in eight albums that sold millions, and earned them four gold records in the US and Canada.

The Daredevils' first radio hit was "If You Want To Get To Heaven" a song John co-wrote. Their second album "It'll Shine When It Shines" included the song "Jackie Blue" which became a #1 hit worldwide.

John's insider knowledge of the music industry, his talent as a composer and lyricist, and his years of experience on the road were the motivating factors behind the creation of a new, more inclusive paradigm for the discovery of new artists and their music. A creative partnership was formed with three other innovative people who shared that same vision. ArtistSignal is the result.

John and The Ozark Mountain Daredevils continue to tour, write and record. John's additional industry talents contribute to the Meridian Creative Alliance including original licensing placements.

It's been a long wonderful road for The Ozark Mountain Daredevils.  Open the November issue of Rolling Stone and John Dillon's picture will remind you of how wonderful it's been.  In a world of one hit wonders John Dillon and The Ozark Mountain Daredevils look like they still have the whole world in front of them as artists and consultants developing and implementing innovative new business models.

As a radio-host this is my Hip-Hop premier :) featuring artists The Real Stevie Bee and Yung Caly who label their music "Hip-Hop/Conscious Rap/Good Music" :) The "Good Music" statement got my attention :) I'd never seen artists describe themselves like that before :) I liked it... sounds confident :)

These articulate young artists rap their thoughts to track.  And I have to tell you, some of these words run deep.... I don't know how many times I listened to Yung Caly's radio edit of 'Black King' but it was so transcendental that I started to write out the lyrics for myself, just so I could be inspired at a glance.

On the new music scene (post 6 major labels now down to 3) we as musicians are all re-defining the music business paradigm.  The Real Stevie Bee had the sense to create a collective of sorts in founding P-Squad Entertainment out of Florida by bringing together the most talented folks around to rap their messages in some inspirational tracks/radio-edits with "... messages of hope, love and prosperity... bold messages used to change the music industry and the world we live in..."...(Click Blog Title to See More)...

SHARP THREE's 'Zero Cool' project is complete.  The recording session was filmed, and the project is available to watch on DVD in its entirely. In making "Zero Cool" (or 007), SHARP THREE has been able to achieve a brilliantly high level of globaly-influenced instrumental music. For Goh Kurosawa, leader of Sharp Three, music does not suggest borders... music is music. Multi-guitarist Goh is often called a musical "Wakonyosai/和魂洋才" which simply means he approaches the Western knowledge with a Japanese spirit. Co-founder of the trio & his brother, Kai Kurosawa, is known world-wide for his extreme bass instruments and his eye opening technical two hand independence on the 24‐string Beartrax “Big Mama Bear" which he designed.
